WebElevate is an honours-degree level programme delivered by Digital Skills Academy and Dublin’s Institute of Technology (who are the awarding body) at the Digital Hub, with the partnership of the Digital Hub Development Agency.
The WebElevate programme provides participants with the opportunity to develop their existing knowledge and skills, and previous employment experience, by reskilling in Digital Media production & application development for the following occupational roles:
1. Digital Media Application Developer / Programmer
2. Web & Interface Graphic Designer
3. Digital Media Production Manager / Project Manager
4. Online Marketing, Sales & Communications Executive/Manager
5. Digital Media Copy Writer, Editor & Information Designer
6. Web Video Producer
Designed to reflect a real working environment and develop the talent for the 21st Century digital workplace, the WebElevate programme is delivered by industry professionals in high-quality education & training facilities at The Digital Hub in Dublin.
The programme also includes structured work placements. Under the guidance of programme teaching staff, industry mentors and in collaboration with leading companies, the participants will work in multi-disciplinary teams developing applications and services in the fields of Mobile Applications, eCommerce services, and Web Video products.
Over twenty companies have partnered with the WebElevate programme to date and they include; Telefonica Ireland, BT Ireland, Pigsback.com, Digiweb, Oracle Ireland and Gill & Macmillan.
Certification: WebElevate is a Level 8 Programme on the NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications), offering a CPD Professional Diploma in Digital Media Production (60 ECTS / Credits), awarded by Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).

Costs & allowances: For eligible participants this programme is free-of-charge.
Time commitment required: The WebElevate programme will run for 44 weeks over a year. While the programme generally requires no more than 16 class contact hours per week, expect to commit a total of 24 hours of your time each week (including the class contact hours), to allow time for your own research, readings and project work. Lectures and Workshops in Semesters I & II are scheduled between 2pm and 10pm, weekdays. Some weekend attendance for specific seminars will be required. For project placements in Semester III daytime access to facilities will be offered on a scheduled basis, with workshops in the evenings.
The course is designed to be flexible in the case of an individual obtaining employment while in the programme, to facilitate the completion of WebElevate.
