Jane graduated with a BA in Art from Hood College, Maryland, USA in 1999. She continued her studies to acquire a MA in Archaeology, at University College Cork in 2000. From 2003 to 2007, Jane and her colleague, Dr Thomas Kador, ran archaeology workshops with Dublin primary schools. Their work secured a place on the shortlist for the Award for Presentation of Heritage Research in 2006. Since 2004 she has worked as a freelance journalist, television researcher and radio broadcaster. Jane is Deputy Director of Programmes for MindField, Ireland’s first international festival of ideas. She is also co-producer and co-founder of Chaos Thaoghaire, a storytelling and games event. Jane has been at the Digital Hub since July 2010. She teaches Communication Skills and Media Literacy on the Digi Film & TV and Creative Digital Media programmes.
